Fabulous hour! Was good to see Ms Streisand relaxed and looking happy. Beautiful homes, property, landscaping and of course the dog whom I presume has her humans wrapped around her 4 paws . The rose garden is absolutely stunning!
I need to buy the book now and happily have the money go to Cedars for womens CV research and education. I hope to see the standard of CV treatment protocals for women change in the very near future in the United States due to this research. I worked in the ER and for years we saw that many women have different symptoms than men do when having the same type of cardiovascular event and wondered why diagnostic testing and treatment protocals had not been changed for women. We too found there was little to no research happening in this area until recently.
Great things are happening for womens CV health today. Lives are being changed and saved through education, diagnostics and treatment specific to women and will continue to be many many years into the future because of this endowment available to fund continuing research.
This is a huge opportunity for women to help women and also participate in their own CV health and prevention.
I propose we all get behind this endowment and research and contribute in some way to help save more womens lives. Spring has arrived once again and with it brings renewal, spring cleaning and garage sale season - a great way to raise money. Instead of giving items away sell them and donate some or all of the procedes to the endowment
Thank you Ms. Streisand, for doing this for all women .
.
Warm Regards,
Fontella
