Barbra, be a good Democrat and let my voice be heard, please???
I posted that because it seems that Barbra and her people are DETERMINED that as few people as possible find out about those shady contests.
I wanted to show the disparity in what her publicist told the public via the news article and what they stated on the website. The news article stated that Barbra's breeder and friend, Marilyn Smart, would NOT be receiving tickets and then on the website it says there is an ADDITONAL winner alongside her breeder.
You tell me to take it to Sony because Barbra had nothing to do with it? Then why is her OWN WEBSITE trying to silence the voices of dissent? Comments are being removed by the Moderator on strict instructions of La Diva.
I'm actually happy that they removed my comment because it proves that Streisand is not the happy Liberal, like I am, that we have been lead to believe she is. She talks a good talk but when it comes down to our 1st Amendment rights she is silencing her critics faster than Communist China. This from a woman who condemned Pres Bush for wiretapping and spying on U.S. citizens.
So, they'll remove this one too,I'm sure. I'm glad I kept copies.
Pet Photo Contest
I'm so happy for the winners of the photo pet contest. I took a great shot of my cat after the contest and wanted to share it but can't get it to download on the site.
The lucky 100 winners will get a chance of a lifetime to see and hear the most beautiful voice in all the world. For there is,and will only be, ONE Barbra Streisand. No one will ever come close to her talents. She is and will always be a true legend.
All the bickering on the site makes me sick to read. It should be sent to Sony or whoever was responsible for the contests if you feel it was unfair. It should not be on this site. This is Barbra's site and she does not deserve to get on her own site and see such angry words.
You don't have to post negative on her site to get her to know what you think. I'm sure the word get's to her. She had nothing to do with picking winners and was not even in the country when the sinners were chosen.
Please don't disgrace Barbra on her own website. I've never seen her perform live but I also know that if I am to see her perform in this lifetime, then it will happen, but only if it was meant to be. if it's not meant to be, I am at peace because her beautiful voice will forever remain in my heart.
Thank you Barbra for the person you are, and the wonderful gifts you have given us and the world, over the years.

Please take your bickering to Sony or whoever is responsible for picking the winners and stop posting negative on this site. Barbra was not even in the country when the winners were chosen. She does not need to get on her own website and see such angry people. This should be only positive comments. What a disgrace to Barbra to make such negative comments on her website. You people should be ashamed. I'm sure she has already heard the news.
I did not win. I tried. What a dream come true to be able to see her perform live in person in this lifetime for me. I know that if I'm meant to see her in this lifetime I will. If not, then it was not meant to be.
She has the most beautiful, calming voice in all the world. No one will ever come close to matching her beauty or her talent.
If I never get to see her perform in this lifetime, I am at peace because her music will remain in my heart forever.
