Stupak-Pitts was the beginning of the WH's atttack on women as political convenience for Team Obama's desperate attempts to put "anything through". A bill without a public option is not reform.

A bill that penalizes women and trashes decades of struggle for equal protection and choice. Now, Senator Nelson was permitted to hold up the Senate and now has made abortion even more prohibitive than the Hyde bill which forbids federally funded abortion.

This new onslaught makes abortion impossible except for the wealthy and connected. This draconian right wing dream was accomplished by faux progressive Obama.

We will see millions of illegal abortions that imperil lives and increase suffering.

My body has been used to further a miserably flawed HC bill, and the cynicism of Rham and Co hold us in contempt.

It will be interesting to see what women Representatives do when this bill goes back to the House.
